First of all, I’d like to say a massive thank you to our good friend Antirealism for buying me and C such an interest Christmas present. As some of you may have seen on Facebook and Twitter that I’ve been messing around with a number of Star Wars action figures. These in particular and a couple of stormtroopers, and an R2D2 unit (this is what happens when a 35 year old goes shopping after a couple of beers). iPhone 4 Bumper

Same as most people who were fortune enough to get their hands on a iPhone 4 on release day, I ordered a bumper case too. Now grated, this is essentially £25 for a bit of rubber that surrounds the iPhone, but it really works. The bumper itself is rubber on the front and back, with hard plastic in the middle. When fitted, it lifts the iPhone about a millimeter from the desk, stopping it from getting scratched. It also gives additional protection on the corners and sides. Social Networking for Gamers

I like most of you, use twitter, facebook and occasionally pop on to myspace to see how many bands want to be my friends. Anyway, on the 4th of October, through total fluke read through a twitter conversation, and noticed a load of twitter entries from @squ1r3ll, with updates on his gaming status….linking to a site called raptr.com. The Eye of Judgement, well what can I say…. I saw what I thought was a bargain, which has turn out to be quite an expensive hobby. I was in the High Cross in Leicester the other Sunday morning, and popped into PowerPlay while waiting for the Apple store to open. iPod Touch OS3.0 First Impressions

Ok, I’m a little sad, ever since the WWDC I’ve been counting down the days until the version 3.0 software for my iPod Touch. Today as most of you are aware is d-day. I’ve spent the day checking the net to see if it’s out, but to no avail. 5.30pm came, I got myself home in record time, sync my iPod, hit Refresh of the update page….and got the, the latest firmware is 2.2.1…Booo ! My shiny Apple MacBook Pro turns up on Wednesday, however that is too far away !! I can’t wait any longer. -6 today !!

I woke this morning to find there is still snow on the ground, but just to add to it, it’s -6, which means under the layer of snow was a layer of black ice. No knowing this, (I know, I know, common sense) I set off this morning on my push iron, turned right at the bottom of my road….I went right, the bike went left…. The most miserable day of the year

Today is apparently the most miserable day today, everyone (most) are back at work, it’s cold, it’s windy, and snowing. Just to add to the pain and suffering, I’ve just finished the first of 90 days worth of workout from the p90x.
