I’ve been taking part in the Year of Shame challenge for less than three months now, and already it’s had a massive impact on my gaming. Just a quick post to show you a bargain I got. As some of you may know, I have a handful of remote control vehicles, for example the Millennium Falcon and the Delorean, Well this one is just another cheap toy for the collection. This one dropped from £40 to £8.99 with £1.99 shipping from the Argos outlet store The description on the eBay site is ‘Fully functioning radio control van, featuring working lights and sound effects. Remote Control Delorean

After playing with the Remote Control Millennium Falcon, I’ve been on the outlook for more nostalgic remote control vehicles. To list just a few on my “To get” list are, the General Lee, the A-Team van, Knight Riders KITT and the Back to the Future Delorean. With the average life expectancy for men in the UK being approximately 70….at 35, it’s time to have my midlife crisis. Some men, by a flash car, or start dating somebody half their age…..not me….I bought a Stormtrooper outfit. 🙂 Just a little bit of history. As some of you may know, in just over 2 weeks I’ll be heading to the Holiday Inn in Birmingham for Dimension Jump XV, this year Red Dwarf Convention, and as we do a Red Dwarf podcast (ScutterCast), I thought it might me a good idea to record some footage while I was there. Apple In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic

To be honest, I was hesitant of spending £54 on a pair of earphones, when I already had a prefectly good pair of Sony ones. The problem being that I use my Ipod Touch the most at work, which means that I have to keep pausing my podcasts. The Universal Dock Adaptor

Well, I have to say I’m impressed with this doc. I like most people tried to do things on the cheap, and bought a dock from Ebay. It was a genuine Apple dock, however not for Touch 2nd Gen. It did work, however fitment was sloppy and the doc adapter didn’t fit. This one just works, plugged it in, dropped my Ipod Touch on it, and it synced straight away, the good thing is, if I don’t use the dock adapter, it fits with the case on 🙂 Finally, the remote control that comes with it, also controls the MacBook … Continue reading The Universal Dock Adaptor

Well today I had Tony Hawks project 8 turn up in the post…the worrying thing is, I couldn’t remember ordering it ! Anyway, checked the invoice, and sure enough I’d ordered it from Amazon, from one of their Fleabay style used sections. So cool I thought, I’ll play on that today.
