Just a quick post to show you a bargain I got. As some of you may know, I have a handful of remote control vehicles, for example the Millennium Falcon and the Delorean, Well this one is just another cheap toy for the collection. This one dropped from £40 to £8.99 with £1.99 shipping from the Argos outlet store The description on the eBay site is ‘Fully functioning radio control van, featuring working lights and sound effects. Remote Control Delorean

After playing with the Remote Control Millennium Falcon, I’ve been on the outlook for more nostalgic remote control vehicles. To list just a few on my “To get” list are, the General Lee, the A-Team van, Knight Riders KITT and the Back to the Future Delorean. You can only imagine my joy when I saw that Argos were selling off the Deloeans for £12.99 each in their eBay outlet store. Harmony remotes FTW

As time goes on, and I buy myself more and more gadgets, these obviously come with more and more remotes. Over the last couple of years I’ve tried various “All in One” remote controls, from the cheap “enter the device ID, and hope for the best”, to a Cambridge Audio MI+ “Smart Remote” I’ve been more than happy with the Cambridge MI+ however I made the mistake of leaving another remote on top of it, which drained the batteries…. First Impressions: Windows 7 Beta

Well, I have a spare machine, so thought I’d download the Vista 7 Beta, and see what’s in store for windows users. Currently I’ve spent only an hour or so using it, however I thought I’d give my first impressions. It’s quick, it’s stable and so far no crashing. The UI is improved, however seems more and more like Mac OS The below are just first impressions, and the resolution is possible, however not clear. The Universal Dock Adaptor

Well, I have to say I’m impressed with this doc. I like most people tried to do things on the cheap, and bought a dock from Ebay. It was a genuine Apple dock, however not for Touch 2nd Gen. It did work, however fitment was sloppy and the doc adapter didn’t fit.
