Microsoft make a mistake, but at least they admit it

Just got the below email from Microsoft regarding their Beta tests of Windows 7 Exploring Windows: Special Beta Edition — Correction Because you signed up to test the Windows 7 Beta, we recently sent you mail about the expiration dates for the Beta and Release Candidate. Unfortunately, we made a mistake. We said the Beta would start shutting down every two hours on June 1, 2009. The correct date is July 1, 2009. The rest of the dates in the mail were correct. Apologies for no posts for a while, however I’ve been mad busy on one of my other projects. About a month ago, myself and a couple of my resident posters over at Red Dwarf Forum decided it was time to do a Red Dwarf based podcast. Doh, Ipod Touch broken

As mention in my post (Gear4 AirZone FM ‘Follow Me’ ), It seems my Ipod Touch can’t power external accessories. Spent an evening googling, reading forums, restoring the Ipod to defaults, Restored via ITunes, updated to version 2.2.1, but still no joy. Decided I’d have to goto the Mecca in Leicester (Apple store in HighCross), and seek guidance.
