Halo Wars

Last weekend I noticed that Halo Wars demo was available on the Microsoft Marketplace, and though, it’s an RTS on a console, it’s going to be terrible, but I downloaded, and really enjoyed. I’ve tried other RTS’s on the console, eg C&C, but felt that they don’t work as well as on mouse and keyboard. I’m the kind of person who has groups of units mapped to my 1-9 key for quick select, and like to attack multiple enemies at one..this isn’t possible on the console, or should I say, not as easy as hitting a number key. Halo 3 Finally beat !

As some of you may know, back in October I got a Xbox 360 Elite for my birthday, with Halo 3. Now before I could play Halo 3, I had to complete Halo 2 on the PC, as I’d done the first, but needed complete the play and complete the 2nd, to fill in the story arc. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2

This weekend’s offer on Steam, is the full game at £7.49 (Half Price), so decided to get a copy. To be honest, I am a big fan of FPS’s (First Person Shooters), however I’m more of a UT (Unreal Tournament) type guy, who love running around with the flack cannon, and rocket launcher and turning my opponents into a mess on the floor.
