Happy Mac Day !

Well after much consideration, I finally took to plunge and bought a 27″ iMac. I’ve been running Mac OSX on my PC now for a good few months, and I’ve also got a MacBook Pro. Hackingtosh FTW

A couple of years ago I discovered, it was possible to run the mighty Mac OSx operating system on hardware that wasn’t Apple. As the versions of Mac OSx have come out, newer of the custom install disk have been released, the community has grown, and custom drivers have been written for the non-Mac hardware. Over the last 2 years, I’ve tried multiple disk and had varied success….however, I’ve finally cracked it ! iPhone Dilemma

As some of you may know, the new iPhone 3GS has been announced, and due for release on the 19th of June 2009. Currently I have a 32Gb iPhone Touch 2G and a Nokia E90 running JoikuSpot so I have an internet connection wherever I go, however this does mean carrying 2 devices around with me. Halo Wars

Last weekend I noticed that Halo Wars demo was available on the Microsoft Marketplace, and though, it’s an RTS on a console, it’s going to be terrible, but I downloaded, and really enjoyed. I’ve tried other RTS’s on the console, eg C&C, but felt that they don’t work as well as on mouse and keyboard. I’m the kind of person who has groups of units mapped to my 1-9 key for quick select, and like to attack multiple enemies at one..this isn’t possible on the console, or should I say, not as easy as hitting a number key.
