When I moved from my Nokia E90 to iPhone, there were a few features missing that I used a lot. Being a “tidy freak”, I kept my application organised in folder. iPod Touch OS3.0 First Impressions

Ok, I’m a little sad, ever since the WWDC I’ve been counting down the days until the version 3.0 software for my iPod Touch. Today as most of you are aware is d-day. I’ve spent the day checking the net to see if it’s out, but to no avail. 5.30pm came, I got myself home in record time, sync my iPod, hit Refresh of the update page….and got the, the latest firmware is 2.2.1…Booo ! iPhone Dilemma

As some of you may know, the new iPhone 3GS has been announced, and due for release on the 19th of June 2009. Currently I have a 32Gb iPhone Touch 2G and a Nokia E90 running JoikuSpot so I have an internet connection wherever I go, however this does mean carrying 2 devices around with me. As I mentioned in my previous post (Vectra SRI CDTi), I was bugged that it didn’t have an MP3 player. Well I thought, maybe I can change the head unit, or pull this one out, and see if it had any auxiliary sockets at the back, then I thought….Ooooo, why don’t I just get one of the FM transmitter thingys. Apple In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic

To be honest, I was hesitant of spending £54 on a pair of earphones, when I already had a prefectly good pair of Sony ones. The problem being that I use my Ipod Touch the most at work, which means that I have to keep pausing my podcasts. Now this wouldn’t normally be a problem, but as my Ipod Touch or Iphone user will tell you, if you set the power saving, pausing your music can be a lengthy task. The Universal Dock Adaptor

Well, I have to say I’m impressed with this doc. I like most people tried to do things on the cheap, and bought a dock from Ebay. It was a genuine Apple dock, however not for Touch 2nd Gen. It did work, however fitment was sloppy and the doc adapter didn’t fit. This one just works, plugged it in, dropped my Ipod Touch on it, and it synced straight away, the good thing is, if I don’t use the dock adapter, it fits with the case on 🙂 Finally, the remote control that comes with it, also controls the MacBook … Continue reading The Universal Dock Adaptor
